Holiday it up: October traditions with VerMints

We feel like a holiday – and we can’t wait until Halloween. So we decided to make this month all about holidays – the wild, the weird, the wonderful. Join us!

1) Mad Hatter Day – October 6th. Or 7 th. Or right now.

Unleash your inner Mad Hatter. Tie yourself down with some dental floss. Or sit down, have some tea, and butter your phone so the clock stays working. ( Huh? Exactly.) Give your Mom a tin of VerMints on her un-birthday.

2) Bald and Free Day – October 14th.

Congratulations! Felicitations, complementations, and supercalifrangelitations! Split ends and roots showing away! Knit all the newly free in your life a toque. Give them a tin of  GingerMints for some extra warmth.

3) International Newspaper Carrier Day – October 13th:

Meet your celebrated newspaper carrier at the door with a warm drink and a tin of VerMints. Shake the hand of one who follows proudly in the footsteps of ten year-old Barney Fletcher, New York’s first newspaper carrier. Yup. Barney approves.

4) Take Your Teddy Bear to Work Day – October 11th:

Look deep into each other’s eyes. Nod. Share a conspiratorial wink. Suck a VerMints, think of all the mischief you two will get up to, and start your day.

5) National Tell a Story Day – October 27th

Bring a couple of friends, flop down on a picnic blanket, and strum a guitar. Take turns regaling each other with funnies. How about bawling together at a tearjerker, or reciting Beowulf with a paper-mâché dragon? Share some VerMints. Tell more stories.
